Tried doing a half body view

Wanted to show a bit of movement. This got approved.

Setting up perspective further for items in the background. I figured I should do it early next time hehe

Placed windows and more magical items. Yes I manually drew those windows.

Placed the bookshelves in the background. The shelves and books were drawn separately and then skewed a little to match the perspective. I downloaded brushes for rows of books and the pillars for the rails.

Initial color block

I am pretty proud of how I rendered this liquid hahaha

First attempt at coloring. Tacky AF. I asked friends for criticism and with one arm left after the slaughter (kidding), I decided to do it over.

started a more muted color for the background

recolored the main character, Naomi. She looked a lot taller with this version. I was more satisfied hahaha

One of the feedback I received was to make the book in front more interesting by adding some magical glowing text. I downloaded brushes for the magic text as well. I found a way to render it so it looks like it is glowing.

More lighting effects. The final image had more hehe
